The chocolate cosmos flower
Cosmos Atrosanguineus, or better known as "The Chocolate Cosmos " is a beautiful maroon flower, and is very endangered. This flower is only found in Mexico. The reason this flower is called the Chocolate Cosmos is because it smells of chocolate. It attracts butterflies with this sweet sent. It blooms June through September. This plant reaches 18-24 inches high with a spread of a foot or so. Despite the sweet sent no part of this flower should be eaten.
